Policy

The comment section is how I interact with you, and also how you become an integral part of the Roman Fitness Systems board.

We are trying to create tight-knit, informative and productive community here at RFS.  Your participation is not only desired,  but necessary!  Without your questions, answers, and insights, our community will never reach it’s full potential.

That said, just a few guidelines to be aware of:

1) Keep it kleen, kiddies.  I’m not exactly the most straight laced guy in the world, so I don’t want to impose too many restrictions about language, but use your judgement. Let’s aim for PG-13 (the good kind, where you sometimes see side-boob).

I encourage you to put your personality in your posts, so write how you speak. Just don’t be an idiot. You can get your point across without dropping F-bombs all over the place.

2) Treat everyone here with respect. I want to have great discussions and debates about controversial fitness topics, but they cannot devolve into wars.  No personal attacks, flaming, or disrespect. You can disagree with someone without insulting them.

3) Share, share, share!  If you enjoy a topic I posted about and the discussion about it, post a link on your Facebook, MySpace, or just e-mail it to your contacts. The more people you bring into the fold, the more information we’ll all be able to share.  With more people sharing, we make this place even better.

and last but not least…

4) Try to stay on topic. While I understand that conversation tend to be organic by nature and drift a bit, let’s try not to let if go too far.  If we’re having a discussion about fat loss, and you post about your favorite episodes of LOST, well, we’ve got issues.

Other than that, there are no rules.  You can even talk about Fight Club.

About Roman

"Author, coach, and self-professed pretty-boy John Romaniello runs Roman Fitness Systems with a tongue-in-cheek approach to fitness--and himself--that shows a genuine love/hate relationship with both. Equal parts narcissism and self-loathing, Roman writes with passion and humor, show-casing his belief that training doesn't need to be the serious, stern, science-laden monotony that is pervasive in this industry."
